I came across Salt Shimmer Artistry on Instagram and instantly loved all the products. Salt Shimmer is owned by Rachele Milordi, who grew up on the North Shore and went to college at the University of Rhode Island. Her love for the ocean is the inspiration behind all of her pieces. The ring dishes, serving boards, and Disney inspired ornaments are some of my favorite from her shop. If you still need a gift, she'll be launching a re-stock of products to purchase on December 11th.
While many may be familiar with the historic Lenox Hotel located on Boylston Street in Boston, you might be surprised to learn that they sell local goods. Their signature lobby scent home spray has the most amazing smell of lemongrass and green tea scent and will take you right back to the signature scent of their lobby. The spray is hand made by a hotel employee who makes the scent right in the hotel's basement. You can also purchase this scent in a candle as well. The deadline to order for Christmas delivery is 12/18.
If you need a stocking stuffer for kids, one of my friends, Nicole Kupstas, just recently started making her own personalized alphabet crayons as gifts in her new business called Melted by NMK. For those who need a gift for their furry friends, check out Doggy Danas, a small business that makes dog bandanas. Established in 2018, all bandanas are made in Wethersfield, CT. $1 from each bandana sold is donated to the CT Humane Society.
One of my friends from my hometown, Alyssa Silva, has created her own small shop and everything is adorable. I love her art prints and especially the "see good, do good, drink good coffee" t-shirt.
